Historic Interpretations, Inc. preserves the past and shares the stories of real people and real history with their hands-on educational programs demonstrating the history, art, science, and culture of Europe and the Americas during the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries. They accomplish this through first person interpretation supporting historic sites, festivals, museums, and schools in North Carolina and along the East coast.
We owe it to future generations to be good stewards of the past. It's the best deal in history!

Historic Interpretations, Inc. is a 501 (c3) nonprofit organization consisting of dedicated actors, historians, craftspeople, and educators who joined forces to bring history to life at historic sites, festivals, museums, and public schools across North Carolina and the East coast since 2009. Their goal is always to create an entertaining and engaging environment of first-person historical interpretation and theatrical performances that capture the imagination of students, parents, and adults while teaching them about the history of times past, featuring hands on experiences. Historic Interpretations, Inc. believes that “real people + real life = real history”, that history matters, and that we owe it to future generations to be good stewards of the past.
