For his day job, J.R. Aiello is a software engineer in Fujifilm's biotechnology division in Research Triangle Park. He has been a member of Historic Interpretations since its inception. He enjoys directing and editing independent film, acting on stage, and performing as a reenactor for various historical events. He hopes to be able to use his experience from both his personal and professional life to Historic Interpretations, Inc., and see it grow. Contact | [email protected] Historian | Marie Berry
Marie Berry has been surrounded by history since she was little, having grown up in Charleston, SC. She attended the University of South Carolina where she worked at the South Caroliniana Library, which is the oldest separate college library in the United States. In 2002, Marie started volunteering with Raleigh Little Theatre because of her daughter Ruth. Shortly after that Ruth dragged her to the North Carolina Renaissance Faire (NCRF) and she was hooked. At NCRF she worked in the gallery and sang with Musician Royale and even was on cast one year but prefers to work back stage. Teaching people about history one-on-one is her favorite thing. When not volunteering she is found at the Campbell University Library where she is the Head of Access Services. Contact | [email protected] |
Secretary | Fiona Dunn
Fiona has been a member of Historic Interpretations since it's inception when she was still in high school. She is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, now working as a freelance artist and design consultant. She also enjoys sewing, and loves to make reenactment clothing. Outside of Historic Interpretations, Fiona enjoys playing music, tabletop gaming, and sword fighting with the Society for Creative Anachronism. Contact | fiona@historicinterpretations.org |
