January 20, 2024 @ 2:30pm 2694 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd., Durham, NC Event is free and open to the public. Let's talk about history and reenacting while having some food and making new friends. This event is for anyone who is interested in what we do. Meet current members, learn how this all works, or catch up with old friends. TENT AND INVENTORY DAY
February 3, 2024 @ 9:00am Event is open to member volunteers only. No event happens without preparation. To get ready for the new season we need to get our tents setup and cleaned up, and make sure all our inventory is in order. This is a great time to meet and talk about costuming, characters, upcoming events, while we all pitch in to make these things happen. REVOLUTIONARY WAR LIVING HISTORY DAY
April 6, 2024, Hillsborough, NC Event is free and open to the public. The Alliance for Historic Hillsborough invites the public to experience the local history of the American Revolution with a day of family-friendly events. Revolutionary War Living History Day focuses on Hillsborough’s unique role in the American Revolution, recalling the occupation of Hillsborough by British General Lord Charles Cornwallis and his 1,900-man army on February 20th, 1781. March 16, 2024, Raleigh, NC Event is free and open to the public. Come enjoy St. Patrick's Day fun at Lafayette Village! Historic Interpretations will be hosting a scriptorium, brass rubbings and more, in addition to food, music, and fun throughout Lafayette Village. |
