MEEP| Mini-Envoy Education Programs
Our Mini-Envoy Education Programs (MEEPs) consist of short, small scale education events in the community. Mini-Envoys consist of one or two interpreters who present a short educational program using limited props and demonstration materials. We believe the MEEP format offers several benefits. Primarily, the small scale means we can target venues not conducive to large groups and our Village format. MEEPs require minimal setup and usually have a shorter program duration.
So what is a MEEP? Our chorale group singing at a nursing home. A knighting ceremony at the children's ward of a hospital. An historic gamer challenging patrons to a game of 9-man Morris at the pub. A period cooking demonstration at an adult education class. An eighteenth century lady engaging with members of a book club.
Please think about your specific talents and interests, collaborate with us in designing these educational programs, and sign-up for the next MEEP expedition!
